Roasted Radishes

Roasted Radishes are much sweeter than fresh; we find them similar to roasted root vegetables. This is an easy side dish; they look beautiful on the plate and the taste will surprise you. Give them a try! It’s well worth it.

Roasted Radishes

Cooking time will depend on the size of your radishes. Ours were unusually large, so 20 minutes was enough to cook them through without softening them too much.

There are 2 Carbs in 100 Grams of radishes, and a large radish can weigh 20 – 25 grams. CHO will depend on your portion size, or simply call it a zero.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch radishes trimmed and cleaned
  • 2 TBSP olive oil
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 TBSP fresh rosemary finely chopped
  • ½ tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Pre heat oven to 400.
  2. Cut radishes in half and toss with olive oil, orange zest, salt and rosemary.
  3. Arrange cut side down on a baking sheet. Cook 20 minutes or until desired doneness and serve immediately.
