Our Adventures

Travel is fascinating – no matter how much I read or see the pictures, the personality and life of a village, city and country become real when I walk the streets.  The people and the history shape the architecture, traditions, culture and cuisine.

Jen and I, along with our collective families, all love home and we love to travel.  We have some shared experiences and some very different ones.  We return to some of our beloved favorites and sometimes set out on new adventures.

Can you take a 4-year-old and 2-year old to New York City and watch the July 4th(2017) fireworks?  Yes, you can!  Can you play on the New Jersey shores and then explore Philadelphia?  Check.  Yes, they did.

Why does Caprese Salad bring back memories of smoking hot summer days in Tuscany and an ice-cold sip of Limoncello conjure up the Amalfi Coast?

You really do float in the Red Sea, it may be hard to imagine, but it’s real.

Please join us – the fun, to share the things we learn and about so many places yet to see.

We encourage you to find those places in the world you are drawn to and explore them!
