California’s famous In-N-Out Burger Sauce is a nice addition to a loaded hamburger. Fire up the barbecue and serve burgers with buns or lettuce wraps.
The sauce is similar to MacDonald’s except for the use of dill pickles instead of sweet pickles, so it’s a little tarter.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup (70 gr) Hellman’s regular mayonnaise 0 CHO
- 2 TBSP (32 gr) French’s Ketchup (4 CHO/TBSP) 8 CHO
- 1 TBSP (10 gr) finely chopped dill pickle 0 CHO
- 1 tsp. dill pickle juice 0 CHO
- 1 tsp. (5 gr) yellow mustard 0 CHO
- ¼ tsp. paprika 0 CHO
TOTAL CHO 8 CHO
- TOTAL WEIGHT 116 GRAMS
- 8 DIVIDED BY 116 GRAMS = .068 CHO/GRAM
- 1 TBSO = 15 GRAMS (.068 CHO x 15 GRAMS) 1.02 CHO/TBSP
- ¼ CUP = 4 TBSP (1.02 CHO x 4) 4.08 CHO/1/4 CUP
- ¼ CUP = 60 GRAMS
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients and refrigerate until serving. Serve with barbequed hamburgers, melted cheese and any topping of your choice.
