Spearhead Winery is one of the friendliest low-key wineries in S.E. Kelowna. Luckily a mere 15 minutes from us. This 15 acre estate focuses on small lot Pinot Noirs and some white wines. Many of these wines have won awards.

Lake Louise sits in Banff National Park, an easy 2-hour drive from Calgary. It is a turquoise blue, Victoria Glacier fed lake ringed by the Canadian Rocky Mountains and the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

We were a little late to the party this spring – my BFF from High School and I. There are 9 of us now, and all of the other gals were either on vacations or couldn’t go.

Cedar Creek Estate Wineries is one of the original 8 wineries in B.C., founded in 1987. The Fitzpatrick Family managed the Winery until 2014 when it was purchased by the VMF Estates Group (von Manuel Family), owners of Mission Hill Family Estate Winery.

Spago has a front row seat at the Bellagio Hotel overlooking the Bellagio Fountains. Sometimes we have been lucky enough to sit outside, listen to the Fountain music and feel the mist; other times we were not so lucky.

Located in the Old Historic District of Savannah, Chive Sea Bar and Lounge came highly recommended. It’s decor is inspired by the decadence of the roaring 20’s in the oldest City in Georgia.
