Beef Burgers with Mushrooms and Swiss Cheese

Sometimes the best summer meals are the simplest.  Using a Chef’s Blend of mushrooms really does amp up the taste experience!

Beef Burgers with Mushrooms and Swiss Cheese

Cook the mushrooms just before the burgers are done and serve with any sides you prefer. Low Carb meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 large beef burgers 0 CHO
  • 100 gr. Chef’s Blend Mushrooms 4 CHO
  • 2 TBSP butter 0 CHO
  • 2 slices Swiss Cheese 2 CHO
  • Salt and Pepper 0 CHO
  • Red onion slices and lettuce to garnish 0 CHO

*Buns – CHO WILL DEPENDED ON YOUR PRODUCT

    Instructions

    1. Lightly season beef with salt and pepper.
    2. Heat grill to 400 and cook burgers, flipping regularly until nearly cooked through.
    3. Cut cheese slices in half so they will fit on the burgers and place on beef. Close barbecue lid and let rest until cheese is melted. Remove burgers from grill.
    4. Meanwhile roughly chop mushrooms.
    5. Heat butter in a medium skillet over medium high heat.
    6. Add mushrooms to pan, lightly salt and pepper; and cook for 4 – 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    7. Garnish burger as desired and serve with mushrooms.
