Harissa often includes sun-dried peppers such as cayenne and/or Serrano. It has a deep flavour, with a bit of heat; yet not as sweet as Aleppo Pepper and not as hot as Sriracha. We have both the spice blend the paste, which is a staple in Tunisian cooking.
Harissa Spice Blend Mayonnaise
Harissa Paste originated in Tunisia and soon became a staple in North Africa and the Middle East. Oil can be added to the spice blend to form a paste, we find it just as easy to use the dry spice blend as a rub or mixed in a condiment such as mayonnaise or butter.
Start adding spices you may not be familiar with lightly and keep adding.

There are no Carbs in the Harissa Mayonnaise.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup (51 gr) Hellman’s Real Mayonnaise
- ½ tsp. McCormick’s Harissa Spice Blend
Instructions
- Mix mayonnaise and spice.
- Store covered in the refrigerator until ready to use.
