Harissa Paste originated in Tunisia and soon became a staple in North Africa and the Middle East. Oil can be added to the spice blend to form a paste, we find it just as easy to use the dry spice blend as a rub or mixed in a condiment such as mayonnaise or butter.
Start adding spices you may not be familiar with lightly and keep adding.
