Mission Hill Exhilaration Sparkling Brut Rose

We stopped in at the gift shop, looked around and bought a bottle of their Sparkling Rose. This is the wineries’ first foray into making a Sparkling wine, so we thought – why not try it?

If you like vintage finds you will love the gift shop this year. Whether in the market to purchase a Louis Vuitton Travel Case or simply look around, there is plenty to see at the shop, including wine tastings.

Let the kids run up and down the hill inside the winery if they need to. This is the area set up for concerts, overlooking the Okanagan Lake.

The Exhilaration Sparkling Brut Rose is a summer bouquet of fresh fruit, raspberries, peaches, and watermelon. It is bright, a bit acidic and has a crisp finish………….it’s made for a hot summer day. Generally, Sparkling Brut (dry) wines have fewer Carbs than sweet wines.

This Prosecco style wine is a perfect blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It’s not too sweet, easy to drink by itself or pair with oysters or a Charcuterie as they do at the Winery.

The price point is about $40.00 and it’s worth it.
