Fresh Figs are a true delight, so when you see them buy a few. They are very seasonal, don’t travel well and are ripe for only a few weeks.
English Potted Blue Cheese is usually a very strong cheese, and a little goes a long way. Once the jar is opened the blue veins begin to appear. Very magical.
Westphalia Ham (German) is a cold smoked, stronger flavoured and saltier ham than other deli hams, sliced very thinly.
Drizzle the entire thing with a really good quality honey and dessert is perfect!
