Warm Figs with English Potted Blue Cheese and Westphalia Ham

3 figs cut in half will nicely serve 3 people for dessert. Choose softer figs as compared to firm. An average fig – 50 grams or about 2.5 inches in diameter is approximately 8 CHO.

Ingredients

  • 3 figs cut in half 24 CHO
  • 3 tsp. English Potted Blue Cheese 0 CHO
  • 6 slices Westphalia Ham 0 CHO
  • 2 tsp. honey 12 CHO

TOTAL CHO 36 CHO

  • 3 SERVINGS = 12 CHO/SERVING

Instructions

  1. Pre heat oven to 350.
  2. Gently wash figs and let dry on counter about an hour before using. Keep figs refrigerated until ready to use.
  3. Cut figs in half and place ½ tsp. blue cheese in the center, on a small baking sheet.
  4. Top with a slice of Westphalia Ham and drizzle honey.
  5. Warm the figs for about 7 – 10 minutes and serve immediately.
