There is a lot of Type 1 Diabetes information out there, some good, some bad, and a lot of it redundant. We have chosen to help you wade through the information and provide you with what we believe to the best from the T1D community, instead of reproducing the information ourselves. A number of these have been tried and true favorites over the years and some have been recently discovered as we have navigated our own questions with T1D. It is a work in progress, so if you have something you think we should share please let us know!
I would also like to give a specific shout out to our friends at Waltzing the Dragon, Michelle MacPhee, and Danielle Krause started the site back in 2011 and it has grown to be a prominent resource in the Candian T1D world. They created the site with a mission to educate, equip and encourage families dealing with type 1 diabetes by providing information that is current, comprehensive, evidence-based, and practical. Michelle, with a background in Psychology, now carries on the legacy of the site and continually provides information and articles that fully live up to their mission. You can visit their site at www.waltzingthedragon.ca or view our favorite resources below.
