Serrano Ham

Serrano Ham

Serrano Ham is Spain’s answer to Italy’s Prosciutto. Both are dry cured, eaten thinly sliced and delicious. Originally, a French Charcuterie consisted of cured meats and pates. Spanish Tapas, appetizers or snacks can be hot or cold. A Cheese Board is generally served at the end of a meal with fruit and perhaps some Port.

Cheese/Meat boards, Charcuteries/Tapas are easy appetizers, lunches and even light dinners. Use whatever you have on hand or plan very carefully, there is no right or wrong. Wrap blue cheese slices with Serrano, spread soft goat cheese on a baguette and build up or mix up flavors to see what you prefer.
