Red Wine Vinaigrette

Although using oil and vinegar to dress vegetables is as old as Ancient Greece and Rome; it became popular as a French dressing by the 1700’s.

Red Wine Vinaigrette

This is one of our “go to” dressings with just about any kind of salad. 0 CHO. Perfect!

Ingredients

Red Wine Vinaigrette

  • 3 TBSP olive oil
  • 2 TBSP red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper

Simple Salad

  • 6 cups baby greens
  • Slivers red onion
  • Slices peppers, fresh or roasted

Instructions

  1. Add vinaigrette ingredients to a small bowl and whisk until incorporated. Toss with any salad; Simple Salad is our quick weeknight “go to”.
