B’s Cheese Panini

B’s Cheese Panini’s

In it’s truest form, an Italian panini is a sandwich grilled with something other than sliced bread, (ie. Ciabatta). When you happen to be 5 years old and making lunch for everyone, sliced bread works just fine.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 cheese slices

Instructions

  1. Place 2 bread slices in panini, side by side. Top each with a cheese slice and place another slice of bread on top. (Buttering the outside of the bread is optional and a bit tricky). Close panini, plug it in and cook until toasted and golden brown. You can add deli meat to the panini if desired.
  2. Lunch is ready! CHO depends on your bread and cheese.
