Raspberry Margarita
This cocktail was inspired by the “Parasol Up” Lounge at the Wynn. It’s crisp and not very sweet, perfect after spending a day in the yard working. It was a welcome sight after we walked the Vegas strip in the hot sun. Margarita’s and heat just seem to go together.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. (60 ml) Silver Tequila 0 CHO
- 1 oz (30 ml) Cointreau 7 CHO
- 2 oz (60 ml) Mott’s Mr &Mrs T Margarita mix (23 CHO/120ml) 11.5 CHO
- 30 grams fresh raspberries 2 CHO
- Ice
TOTAL CHO PER DRINK 20.5 CHO
Instructions
- Place raspberries and Tequila in a glass and muddle raspberries until Tequila looks pink. Strain seeds and pulp over a cocktail shaker. Discard seeds and pulp.
- Fill cocktail shaker half full of ice, then add Cointreau and Lime Margarita mix to Tequila. Shake and pour everything into a glass. Garnish with fresh lavender.
