Enjoy fresh herbs all summer and when the days start to cool, slowly start cutting down them down and after a quick rinse, air dry on tea towels.
As per son J’s recommendation years ago, we clip the leaves off along with some tender stems, depending what you are working with and freeze in Zip Lock bags.
Take out preferred amount and use in any recipe you want. Fresh is always better for garnish, but having said that, frozen herbs are much brighter than dried.
